Tour of the Lizerne valley
Degree of difficulty : T2
This is a small wild valley with an easy and pleasant path, which is accessible to everyone.
This tour departs and ends at the Post Bus stop in Le Godey. Start your walk towards “Montbas” passing in front of the Chapel dedicated to St-Nicolas de Flue (patron saint of Switzerland). Once you reach Pomeiron (Montbas) follow the road to “Poteu des Etales”. After crossing the Lizerne keep on towards “La Lui” then return to the starting point by following the embankment of the dam.
In the spring, it can be difficult to cross the Lizerne (strong flow due to the melting of the snow). We suggest that you embark on this walk around mid-July; before that time, crossing the river is at your own risk.
